Hi Michael,

My name is Ashley Hanbury and I am currently taking a class with Diane you wife on Research and Statistics for Psychology and as I'm sure you know, we have to do an extensive research project. I am pursing the idea of antisocial behavior in adoptees. Adoption is often associated with antisocial behavior, and I am taking a view that disproves such an idea. I plan to support the less explored viewpoint that states that those who are adopted show little to no higher levels of antisocial behavior when compared to their non-adopted peers. 

I plan to administer surveys to 25-30 adopted individuals. One survey measuring antisocial behavior, another measuring pro-social behavior and a third survey exploring perceived social support. All together, the surveys are roughly 40 questions, and involve no extensive responses, just choosing which answer bests describes the individual.

Diane had mentioned your role in The Adoption Option show, and I am contacting you today to ask if you would forward these surveys to the adopted individuals in your life. I am hoping to find 25-30 participants so I could definitely use all of the help I can get! 

If you wish to assist me in completing these surveys, please let me know so that I can send you a copy, along with a confidentiality agreement stating that all data will remain anonymous.
